Rosalinda 40th Anniversary
Celebrating 40 years of a successful business is an exceptional achievement.
Rosalinda ‘Ontwerp’ is an interior decorating business based in Pretoria that was established in 1982. After designing, building and decorating her own home, friends started asking Linda van Vuuren for advice. Her love of sewing and designing soft furnishings with a difference led to orders and the beginning of a business. The name Rosalinda came up when Maryna Roos joined her.
Recently, Rosalinda celebrated their 40th anniversary and Home Fabrics was invited to be part of the celebration. As Linda says, "One of the first accounts I opened was with Home Fabrics." and we were able to honour this longstanding relationship. Garth Wastie presented products from our latest collections as we wished Rosalinda well for another four decades of beautiful design.
The Rosalinda studio and workroom is in Brooklyn where furniture, carpets, artworks, and decor accessories are available. Their decorating style can be described as more traditional with a focus on simplicity and comfort in a wonderful bright South Africa, using local and international fabric designs.
