Café Zest
A favourite of the community in Gordon's Bay, Cafe Zest is owned and operated by mother and son, Hermien and Ruben. The dark interiors didn't match the vibrant name so, this lovely beachside restaurant was transformed with a focus on simplicity and inspiration from the ocean.

About the Restaurant
Considering it's location right next to a popular beach, it made perfect sense to bring the outside indoors. It's interior was quite dark and it needed light and brighter colours to match the energy of the owners.
The Inspiration
Misi Overturf created a colour palette from the sea and the sand, incorporating enticing blue shades as well as soft natural hues. Using different FibreGuard fabrics, 40 seats were re-upholstered. The mix of different colours and textures creates interest while ensuring the seats are stain-resistant and easy to clean.
